Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge

This place is a dream, from the location to the staff- it is perfection. Rooms are surprisingly accommodating, which I was concerned about given sq footage. We did 5 easily in a 2bd. The location on the lake, with a beach and 2 hot tubs, is ideal. Even the pool was accessible for a winter cold plunge after hot tubing. Larger towns located 15 mins each way, and a smaller quaint shopping area within walkable distance. Best of all, the staff are focused on customer service and the guest experience. I cannot say enough about how welcome they made me feel, and how responsive they were to my every question or need. They went out of their way, and it made a huge impact. I plan to return!

Wonderful experience. The cottage room was equipped with many comforts. The gas fireplace kept the cabin warm and cozy. The Murphy bed was extremely comfortable and east to setup. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything needed. There is a coffee maker and coffee. Lots of high pressure hot water for a shower. Highly recommend this stay gem.

The resort is lovely. It has everything you need for a clean, comfortable stay. The beach area is sweet and the water is easy to access. Lots of cushioned lounge chairs available plus picnic tables and chairs for seating and enjoying the view. Pool area is nice and deck with tables and chairs is perfect for relaxing. Would definitely recommend Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge and we will be back!

We checked in after hours and the instructions were a little confusing. It took us about 10 minutes to figure out how to find the lock box at the office and get into our room. They did not mention going to the office and using that lockbox so we assumed it was a lockbox on our door, which was not the case. Needless to say, the room was very clean and had some nice amenities. Although it was upstairs and a bit of a pain to drag our luggage up. Location was nice. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by.

Red wolf is right on the beach with beautiful views. Loved the hot tub with a view of the lake. The two bedroom is very roomy and it has everything needed. Very friendly helpful staff in the office.

We spent our anniversary here last week. The lakeside view from the swimming pool and hot tub was stunning. The suite is clean and spacious for a family of 4. The staffs were very nice and friendly, the front desk lady was super nice and be able to check us in as early as 2PM. Very easy to check in and check out. They also provide kayaks during summer time. This is highly recommended and I would definitely come back at snowy days or summer time.

We had the best stay at Red Wolf! All of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Great location on the lake- walking distance to grocery and restaurants. Free kayaks rental was amazing as well. Comfy beach lounge area, plenty of space at the pool and amazing views from The hot tub. We’ll be coming back for sure!

This place is absolutely perfect for a lake getaway! The water is crystal clear, with easy access to the shore and plenty of barbecue areas. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the kitchen was fully equipped, the grill worked great, and everything was clean and well-kept. Special thanks to the front desk — the lady there was super friendly and helpful. Even our late-night arrival at 2 AM went smoothly: just a quick call to the red phone, we received the code, and picked up our envelope with the keys from a secure box. Very convenient and stress-free. On the resort grounds, right by the lake, there’s a wonderful swimming pool with clean water. In the evening, when it got a little chilly, we relaxed in the warm jacuzzi, then jumped back into the cool pool. It was an incredible experience — all with a stunning view of the mountains, the lake, and the sunset. Absolutely unforgettable. Our stay left only the best impressions. We’ll definitely be back!
